Booking Rooms at Christ Church
Christ Church is well resourced in terms of rooms and these are regularly used by outside groups needing a space in the centre of the city. Our prices are very reasonable and are based on the type of room required, the length of time and the type of organisation looking to book.
Worship area: Our largest area which seats up to 200 people comfortably. This space is usually used for large meetings, concerts and lectures.
The Lounge: Connected to the worship area, this is self-contained area which seats up to 50 but is usually used for cafe meetings, meals or smaller meeting groups of about 20. It has a well equipped kitchen attached.
Upstairs hall: This is a great space for youth groups, uniformed organisations, dance groups, crafts clubs and so on. The space is 8m x 13m and has 60 chairs if needed with tressle tables. There is a small kitchen attached for making drinks which can be used by any of the rooms upstairs.
Quiet Room: A self contained room upstairs with 2 sofas, a TV/DVD and other chairs. Can seat up to 35 but is usually used as a more relaxed space or for smaller meetings.
Rooms 1 & 2: Smaller rooms upstairs for small group meetings. Hold up to 15 people.
